Ayers Rock Tour Day 1 Alice Springs to Uluru
We travel to Ayers Rock after stopping off at the Outback camel farm. From there we travel on to explore the 36 domes of Kata Tjuta also known as the Olgas. From there we arrive a our safari camp in time for an incredible desert sunset over Uluru watching the changing colours. Tonight we dine on locally sourced food and wine as we relax under millions of stars.
Ayers Rock Tour Day 2 Uluru to Kings Canyon
Sunrise over Uluru is always amazing and it’s an early start to see it. This morning you explore the base of Ayers Rock on an unguided walk before taking a cultural walk with an Aboriginal guide. We have lunch before heading over to Kings Canyon. We spend the night at the permanent campsite at Kings Canyon Resort.

Ayers Rock Tour Day 3 Kings Canyon to Alice Springs
There’s a lot to see at Kings Canyon and we explore the Amphitheatre, Lost City, the lush and ancient Garden of Eden and the sheer outcrops of the North and South walls. After lunch, the tour travels back to Alice Springs where we settle in for the evening at our hotel.
Ayers Rock Tour Day 4 Alice Springs to West MacDonnells
We leave Alice Springs this morning and travel to Ormiston Gorge, witnessing the contrasting colours as the light reflects off the cliff faces. We keep our eye's peeled for Wallabies and other wildlife along the way. We move on to Ellery Creek to enjoy panoramic views of the area and maybe take a swim in the still waters. After lunch we visit the world famous Simpsons Gap, an important site to the local Aborigines. To finish of the perfect way you can take a camel ride at your own expense to watch the hills trasform and change colour with the setting sun.
Note *Flights must arrive before 1.00pm to connect with Yulara Airport Shuttle (free 6km transfer) to Desert Gardens Hotel. Please arrive in appropriate touring clothing and footwear with a day pack prepared.
Sturdy walking shoes (ankle high), hat, sunscreen, towel, toiletries, warm clothing in winter, water bottle, torch, insect repellent, camera, film, strict 15 kilo per person luggage limit.
Experienced guide, meals as indicated, accommodation transfers, camping fees and 2 nights twin share tents. 1 night dorm share hostel. Please note passengers are required to assist guide with meal and camp preparation.
