Kakadu tour - Day 1
Your Kakadu tour bus will pick you up from your Darwin accommodation around 6.30am this is where your Top End adventure starts. From Darwin we travel south along the Stuart Highway to the Mary River Wetlands for your exclusive wildlife river cruise.
Keep your eyes open to spot huge Saltwater Crocodiles, sea eagles and the abundant wildlife along this remarkable water lily lined river. This area is home to over 250 bird species and the highest concentration of Saltwater Crocodiles in the Southern Hemisphere. You might also see water buffalo on your private river cruise.
We enter Kakadu National Park at the South Alligator River. There is the opportunity to purchase Aboriginal art and crafts at the Bowali Visitors Centre before we head off to Ubirr. At Ubirr you will see a wide range of Aboriginal Rock Art interpreted by your guide. Learn about the story of the Rainbow Serpent and how the landscape here was created. Climb to the Nadab Lookout for those amazing panoramic photos out over the floodplains. We drive to our private campsitte at Cooinda for our overnight stay.

Kakadu tour - Day 2
This morning we are driving to the southern end of Kakadu National Park. We are spending the entire morning at magnificent Gunlom Falls*. There is a large plunge pool at the bottom of the falls but we climb to the top of Gunlom falls* to access the crystal clear natural infinity pool and to take in the incredible view over Kakadu from the top of the falls. Take a swim in the sandy middle pool. Crocodile Dundee loved this magical place and so will you
After lunch and a last swim in the lower plunge pool we depart Kakadu National Park and drive to our private overnight camp near Litchfield National Park.

Kakadu tour - Day 3
We spend the day exploring the rock escarpments, waterfalls and wildlife of world famous Litchfield National Park. You will be amazed by the massive magnetic and cathedral termite mounds some standing as high as 6 metres and all the result of the combined efforts of thousands of tiny termites.
Swim and hike to Florence falls and Wangi Falls*. Discover the many rock holes and swimming spots of the Buley Rockhole before arriving back in Darwin around 5.30pm.
Darwin to Alice Springs tour - Day 4
You will be picked up from your Darwin accommodation around 6.00am and head south along the Stuart Highway to Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk National Park). We spend the afternoon discovering the steep sandstone walls of this ancient gorge that is so special to the Jawoyn Aboriginal people. You might like to optional take a guided cruise or hire a canoe (seasonal and at own expense) or you can hike along the walls of the gorge. Later today we will travel further south to Mataranka Thermal Springs and our overnight stay.

Darwin to Alice Springs tour - Day 5
Start your day by soaking your cares away in the warm thermal springwaters of Mataranka Thermal Pools. The springs are surrounded by lush plant life and paperbark trees creating a relaxing oasis for you to enjoy.
We head down the Stuart Highway to call in at the famous Daly Waters Pub, a historic pub dating back to the droving days and with walls covered by memorabilia left by past visitors. Have a cold beer at the bar while you check out various mementos that give this pub so much character.
The day draws to a close as we arrive at our overnight stay at Banka Banka Cattle Station.

Darwin to Alice Springs tour - Day 6
We pass through the town of Tennant Creek before arriving at the Devils Marbles (Karlu Karlu) which are a collection of gigantic granite boulders balanced on top of one another. Later in the day we cross the Tropic of Capricorn before making our way into the capitol of the Red Centre, Alice Springs. We arrive around 5.30pm.

Itinerary/Gunlom Falls and Wangi Falls might not be able to be accessed during the wet season. If this is the case we will visit Motor Car falls or Boulder Creek. 15 kilogram luggage limit on tour.
