Price includes: Group car hire, guide, return barge fees, camping and vehicle permits, cooking and camping equipment, introductory briefing on Fraser Island and safe 4 wheel driving. Extra $5 sleeping bag hire if required.

Insurance
This is compulsory for each person to pay Insurance which reduces the excess from $5000 down to $1000. This means it is the groups responsibility for the car even if you are not driving, if the driver is not being responsible then the group can stop the car and replace the driver.
Additional Costs are Food, Fuel and Alcohol
This tour is suitable for single travelers or small groups ideally aged between 18-35. The hostel will team you up with other people for a 3 day 2 night camping trip to Fraser Island. You must arrive at the hostel on the day before departure before 5.30pm to attend a compulsory briefing required by Queensland law. Anyone not attending the briefing will be unable to take the trip and would lose the cost of the trip if unable to reschedule.
Groups are encouraged to operate a kitty contributing between $20 and $25 each and you would all then go shopping with a suggested list of things to buy for the 3 days.
Camping equipment, beach camp permits, return barge crossings and a driving permit are included.
Drivers must be aged 21 or older and have a current drivers license.
