Don't let anyone tell you there is a better place to see the Humpbacks in AustraliaOur whales here in the waters of Fraser Island are at rest and play as they take a break from their annual migration. They bring their newborn calves here to rest and strengthen for the long journey they have to finish. Here the whales will come and look at you as the baby whales see their first humans. Everywhere else they are on the move, here they take time to come and check you out, just look at the pictures and you will see.

A large stable cruising catamaran Whalesong will get you out into the bay fast. With disabled access and a childrens area the boat is perfect for all walks of people, families and people with wheelchairs.

Brent is a Master Class 4 skipper with more than 12 years experience at the helm of fast catamarans on Fraser Island transfers, whale watch tours and other operations.

Quick Cat II operates out of Hervey Bay taking a maximum of 95 passengers for half day whale watching cruises. Owned and operated by Brian and Jill Perrry who are recognised as the pioneers of whale watching in Australia.

Spirit of Hervey Bay is the largest of the whale watching vessels departing from Hervey Bay. With three viewing decks, a licensed kiosk and enthusiastic crew the Spirit departs twice daily during whale season.
