7 Day Ayers Rock to Darwin - Rock to Top Tour
This 7 Day tour will show you the very best of the Ayers Rock region and then the vastness of the Northern Territory taking you north along the Stuart Highway and dropping you off in Darwin. With the colourful stops along the way you will have a new appreciation of just how big this country is.
Day 1 - Cockatoo Dreaming Uluru tour
The journey commences heading south to Erldunda driving through the Waterhouse and James Ranges with a stop at The Camel Farm for refreshments and a Camel ride if you’d like to ride a camel +. The tour also stops at Mt. Ebenezer Roadhouse where you can see and purchase Aboriginal artefacts. On the way to Uluru (Ayers Rock) there is a stop to view Atila (Mount Connor), a mesa tableland and the first massive rock formation of the trip.
After a stop for lunch and your arrival at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, you will head to the Cultural Centre and the opportunity to learn about the local Aboriginal law and religion (Tjukurpa) before a short guided walk at the base of Uluru. At this point you can take a full base walk, climb Uluru if you choose to do so, or join the Aboriginal guided Kuniya Walk +. Please note that the Kuniya Walk is in place of doing the base walk or climbing Uluru (climbing is discouraged by Anangu) for clients that give priority to having a direct indigenous experience on tour.
Of course no Uluru tour would be complete without experiencing the famous changing colours of the Rock at sunset, with complimentary sparkling wine and nibbles. It's a great time to kick back and think about the day and the expanse the desert.

After stopping at the Resort for fuel and refreshments it’s off to Kings Creek Cattle Station for your second night of bush camping. Situated at our idylic and private campsite which really is 'Way-outback", complete with unique bush toilet and shower.
With nobody else for miles, this camp has stunning views out over the George Gill Ranges and gives you a real feel for the outback. Dinner around the campfire makes for a very social time with another night out under the stars.
