World Heritage Listed Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world. It is brimming with freshwater lakes that rise up from underground, and are encirclied by giant sand dunes. The water is so pure you can drink it from the source. Experience the sheer remoteness and vastness of the famous 75 mile long beach when you explore this magnificent island.
The Wilderness Adverture gives you the best of both worlds - action packed days discovering the island's wonders and fun nights enjoying restaurant meals and partying at the Sand Bar. Your group will receive personalised attention from our ranger guide and you'll have plenty of time to relax and make friends.

Please note a $24.00 per person National Park permit/ levy is payable directly on arrival. Minimum age is 18 years.
Hervey bay is also famous for it's seasonal Whale Watching tours which run from late July to early November. Please advise us if you would like to also book a Whale Watching cruise during those months.
Day 1: Hervey Bay
Arrive at Hervey Bay and transfer to Urangan Harbour for your Catamaran transfer to Fraser Island. Sunday to Thursday 8.45am, 12.00 noon, 4.00pm or 6.30pm. Friday & Saturday 8.45am, 12.00 noon, 4.00pm, 6.30pm or 7.00pm. Overnight at Wilderness Lodge - quad share. (D)
Day 2: Fraser Island
After breakfast join a 4WD tour to start exploring this stunning island and discovering for yourself some of it's picturesque highlights. Overnight at Wilderness Lodge. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Fraser Island
Continue your 4WD tour, swimming in freshwater creeks, see the Maheno shipwreck on the beach and maybe even turtles in the lakes. Overnight at Wilderness Lodge. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Hervey Bay
Check out of your accommodation before your tour. Cross the island to Lake Wabby for a swim. Trek over Hammerstone Sandblow. Transfer to Hervey Bay 5.00pm. (B,L). End of services.
