Hervey Bay Whale Watching
Quick Cat II
Hervey Bay in Queensland Australia has long been recognised as the whale watching capital of the world, and for a very good reason. It is simply the best place in the world to get up close and personal with Humpback Whales.
Quick Cat II is operated by Brian and Jill Perry who are recognised as the pioneers of whale watching in Hervey Bay. In the early days Brian would fly a light aircraft to spot the whales and guide his boat and passengers to them. Today this is not necessary as the whales have recovered their numbers and the whales actually come to the boats to look at the passengers most of the time.
Quick Cat II offers half day whale watching trips and with the wealth of experience the skipper will get you up close and personal with whales of a variety of sizes.
You are gauranteed to spot whales or a free trip will be given this offer applies during August - September - October each year although the whales are often here in July and very early November as well.
