The Yacht Broomstick was built in South Africa to win the Cape Town to Rio Yacht Race. From there she went on to compete in many of the world's most famous blue water events including the Sydney to Hobart. As a true Maxi, she is big, comfortable and very fast, perfect for your next scuba diving vacation.
She finished racing in 2000 and was converted to sailboat charter in 2001 - but beware, her racing spirit still remains!
The Cruise:
ProSail, Broomstick and her multi award winning crew will take you on an unforgettable 2 day 2 night snorkeling - scuba diving vacation throughout the Whitsunday Islands and may visit the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
You can participate in all activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, bushwalking and helping to sail a true Maxi or simply sit back and just take it all in - the choice is yours on this ultimate scuba diving vacation.
The Scuba Diving:
Your cruise will take you to some of the best dive sites that our region has to offer, providing experiences for beginner and expert. For scuba divers who are certified, you can participate in up to five different scuba dive experiences including a night dive.
You may also increase your scuba diving qualifications whilst aboard. Introductory scuba diving is available. If you are not certified but would like to experience the thrill of scuba diving, our highly qualified instructors will take you on an unforgettable underwater scuba diving vacation.
By the time your vacation finishes, with up to four dives, you'll leave feeling like an expert.
