Description

New Horizon is an old world 97 foot timber sailing ketch with 3 large air conditioned open plan cabins that have single and double bunks.

Being a budget trip New Horizon is popular with the younger traveler and the young at heart. New Horizon will visit Whitehaven Beach on every trip and there is ample time for snorkeling during the trip.

All meals are supplied inclusive of the price and are prepared from fresh local produce. Snorkeling gear is supplied free of charge. Vegetarians can be catered for with advance notice.

New Horizon visits the actual Whitehaven Beach with ample time on the pure white silica sands and perhaps a walk up to the lookout.

You will sail through the magnificent Whitsunday islands taking in the views and if you like you can help to sail the New Horizon. Passengers can take turn at the helm and help sailing the boat.

Snorkeling and scuba diving locations are chosen according to the tides and weather on the day and can include Blue Pearl Bay, Luncheon Bay and other pristine locations out in the Whitsunday Islands.

Be amazed at the marine life at snorkel locations and be greeted by a giant Maori Wrass called Elvis.

Priced to suit everyone's budget you can sail on the New Horizon through the idyllic Whitsunday Islands and it won't break the bank.

New Horizon has been sailing the Whitsunday Islands for many years now as an overnight vessel and the crew know exactly where to take you so that your sailing trip is a memorable and fun experience.
