Departures from Darwin:
Departs all year daily. December to March the tour is on a wet season itinerary as some locations will be closed. Please advise when booking where to pick you up from in Darwin. Pick ups are available from local accommodation venues. If you don’t yet know where you are staying we will give you the address to go to where you can board the tour. Alternatively you can tell our operator when you phone to reconfirm at least 24 hours prior to departure.

Accommodation while on tour is at permanent and bush campsites.

Experienced tour guide, meals as per itinerary, croc and wildlife spotting cruise, accommodation transfers, camping fees & equipment.
What to Bring:
Refillable water bottle, Pillow for camping if required, towel, toiletries, insect repellent, sun block cream, hat, torch, warm clothes in winter months, good hiking shoes (preferably ankle high) no open toed sandals or flip flops (thongs). Any snacks you can’t live without.
Passenger fitness:
This tour is ideally for fit active people who have a degree of fitness aged between 18 to 50, you should be able to undertake a return hike of up to 8 kilometres with no problems. This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 14 years of age.
Passenger Participation:
Passengers are required to assist the guide in the preparation and cleaning up of meals. This also helps you to get to know everyone.
Itinerary:
Day 1: - Darwin – Kakadu
Departing from Darwin at 6.30am the tour heads off to the Marrakai Floodplains and White Lily Billabong where you will see large numbers of birdlife and a billabong covered in Water Lilly’s. From there you will move on to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge) for a refreshing swim, time to explore, rock climb, relax or swim in the waterfalls. The Warradjan Culture Centre is the next stop where you will learn about the local Aboriginal people. Overnight camp in Kakadu.

Day 2: - Kadadu
Time to get offroad today, Twin Falls is the first stop where you will enjoy an interpretive cruise and walk with a local aboriginal guide before taking the challenging hike to the top of Twin Falls for some of the best views over Kakadu. From Twin Falls it is time to get off the busy roads and do some four wheel driving along the sandy tracks and creek crossings leading to magnificent towering Jim Jim Falls, hike to the base of Jim Jim Falls and swim and relax in the massive plungepool at the base of the falls. Overnight camp in Kakadu where you will enjoy another hearty outback dinner.

Day 3: - Kakadu - Darwin
The day starts with an exclusive Aboriginal Cultural Experience conducted by the Kakadu Culture Camp. You can learn how to play a Didjeridoo, throw a boomerang or spear and listen to ancient Dreamtime Stories. Ubirr Rock is the last stop before heading back to Darwin. You will view ancient aboriginal rock art regarded as some of the finest examples in the world and dating back centuries. A climb to the top of Ubirr Rock will allow you to take some great photos with the 360 degree view from the top. The tour departs Kakadu and arrives back in Darwin late afternoon.
