Try to buy as little glass as you can. Beer in cans and wine in casks please
1: Sausages, Steak, etc for the BBQ on your first night and Pre Packed Ham and various lunch meats for sandwiches.
2: Bread (approx 1 loaf per person).
3: Butter or Margarine in a solid container.
4: Spreads, Marmalade, Jam, Nutella, Vegemite, Pate.........
5: Tea, Coffee, Sugar (Bundaberg sugar sells packs of single serve sugar that work well).
6: Cordial or Soft Drink (optional).
7: Resealable long life milk in the non refridgeration section (trust us this works best on Fraser Island). General guide half litre per person, 1 litre if cereal eaters.
8: Muesli or breakfast cereal.
9: Potatoes and bag of salad for the first night.
10: Tin (Aluminium foil).
11: Grated cheese & Sour cream or Baked beans to top Jacket Potatoes.
12: BBQ or Tomato sauce for BBQ night.
13: Sliced Cheese individually wrapped (again trust us....no sand on wrapped slices) and Tomato or Cucumber if preferred.
14: Sti fried vegetables & minute noodles/Fried noodles or Spagetti and sauce.
16: Spices and Salt/Pepper*
17: Nibblies: Fruit, Biscuits, Cookies, Crisps (Potato chips).
18: Dish soap (Washing up liquid)*
18: Cooking oil *
19: Marshmallows (for toasting on the fire).
20: Firelighters and Matches*
21: Toilet paper*
22: Bin bags for your rubbish.
23: Bottled water (optional). Water container is provided and there is water available on Fraser Island.
24: Sunscreen and Insect repellant (a must).
25: Does someone have a First Aid kit?
Alcohol should be purchased cheaper on the mainland and not in glass containers. Oz Magic does not encourage excess drinking and warns that there are police on the island and random breath testing is a regualar routine for Fraser Island police. Breath testing stations are held all over the island and on the beaches, normal penalties apply.
