Darwin to Adelaide Day 1:
Darwin to Mary River
See the falls of Litchfield National Park then head to Mary
River Wetlands for an afternoon wildlife cruise. Enjoy
dinner, an Aboriginal Corroboree and overnight camp at
Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge. (Lunch, Dinner)
Darwin to Adelaide Day 2:
Mary River to Kakadu
We call in at Mamukala Wetlands then 4WD into the
awesome Jim Jim Falls before heading to Twin Falls where
we join a National Park operated boat (exta cost of $12.50)
and boardwalk experience through the gorge to the waterfall.
We drive on to Kakadu for dinner and overnight camp.

Darwin to Adelaide Day 3:
Kakadu to Darwin
Our first stop is Ubirr to discover ancient Aboriginal rock art
then head to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge), where we do some
hiking and enjoy a refreshing dip in the plunge pools before
returning to Darwin. Overnight dormitory accommodation
included.

Darwin to Adelaide Day 4:
Darwin to Katherine Gorge
We visit the Adelaide River World War 2 Cemetary before
spending the afternoon either canoeing or cruising (at own
expense) the striking Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk). Overnight
at our permanent camp. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Darwin to Adelaide Day 5:
Katherine Gorge to Tennant Creek
Stop for a swim at the Mataranka Thermal Pools, call in at
the Daly Waters Pub, then continue on to Tennant Creek for
our overnight camp at Juno Horse Farm.

Day 6: Tennant Creek to Alice Springs
This morning we visit the picturesque Mary Ann Dam in the
"Honeymoon Ranges", then head to Devils Marbles, before
arriving in Alice Springs late afternoon to our overnight
dormitory accomodation. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 7: Alice Springs
A FREE day to explore the sights of Alice Springs, Overnight
dorm. (Meals at own expense)
Day 8: Alice Springs
A FREE day to explore the sights of Alice Springs
(all activities at your own expense).
Overnight dorm accommodation. (Meals at own expense)
Day 9: Alice Springs to Kings Canyon
and Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Experience the remote outback of the Red Centre as we
drive to Kings Canyon to climb and explore the impressive
formations of the "Amphitheatre", "Lost City", the
picturesque "Garden of Eden" and the breathtaking North
and South Walls. After lunch continue on to Uluru (Ayers
Rock) passing Mt Connor and Curtin Springs Cattle Station.
After dinner curl up under the millions of stars in an authentic
Aussie Bedroll (Swag) at our permanent campsite.

Day 10: Uluru to Kata Tjuta (Olgas)
Up before dawn to experience an Uluru sunrise and either an
optional climb or base walk, exploring the mysterious rock
formations and the Aboriginal art sites. Visit the Cultural
Centre for a greater insight into Aboriginal art and beliefs
with the opportunity to purchase art & crafts. After lunch, hike
the spectacular Valley of the Winds in Kata Tjuta
(The Olgas) then enjoy a glass of sparkling wine while
watching the desert sun set over Uluru. Return to camp to
enjoy a traditional camp oven dinner before "turning in for
the night". (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 11: Uluru to Coober Pedy
An early departure this morning as we head to Coober Pedy,
crossing the Northern Territory/South Australian border.
On arrival enjoy a mine tour, including an opal cutting
demonstration, with the change to try opal fossicking (time
permitting). Overnight in an underground bunkhouse at
Cooberpedy. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 12: Coober Pedy to Rawnsley Park
Today we journey further south along the Stuart Highway
passing the "rocket launching" township of Woomera,
breaking for lunch at Port Augusta before arriving at the
spectacular sheep station of Rawnsley Park in the late
afternoon Dinner and overnight bunkhouse accommodation
at Rawnsley Park. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 13: Wilpena Pound to Parachilna
Rise and shine early for the challenging climb of Mt Ohlssen-
Bagge. Be rewarded with fantastic views of Wilpena Pound,
the Ranges, desert and Lake Torrens. After lunch we drive
through spectacular Parachilna Gorge as we head to
Parachilna. Overnight accommodation and a memorable
"Aussie BBQ" (including local game) at Parachilna.

Day 14: Parachilna to Adelaide
This morning we take a short walk to view Aboriginal rock art
at Yourambulla Caves then visit the ruins of Kanyaka
Homestead. We break for lunch in the historic railway
township of Quorn, before heading to Adelaide via the
beautiful Clare Valley. (Breakfast, Lunch)
What to Bring:
Sturdy walking shoes (ankle high), swimming gear, hat,
sunscreen, water bottle, towel, toiletries, warm clothing
in winter, insect repellent, camera & film, pillow,
sleeping bag (can be hired $15.00pp).
Included: Experienced guide, meals as indicated,
accommodation transfers, camping fees and equipment,
Opal mine tour, hostel dorm accommodation as indicated
or (upgrade to ensuite motel at extra cost).
