Itinerary
Day 1 - Cairns to Hann River
Travel through the tobacco producing region of Mareeba and the Palmer River area famous for it gold rush glory days then onto Lakelands Downs. From here you travel into Aboriginal Quinkan country and view ancient Aboriginal rock art at Split Rock. A brief stop at Laura, then onto Hann River to make camp for the night.

Day 2 - Hann River to Archer River
This morning you drive to historic Musgrave Telegraph Station, then on to Coen along the dirt road track. Camp Overnight at the Archer River Roadhouse.

Day 3 - Hann River to Bush camp Old Telegraph Track
Today you go four wheel driving over the old Overland Telegraph Track and cross many crystal clear creeks, traverse open woodlands country pass huge termite mounds and make camp by one of the many creeks that cross the Overland Telegraph Track.

Day 4 - Bush Camp to Cape York Loyalty Beach
Another exciting day of 4WD creek crossings leads us to the Jardine River which is renowned for it’s crocodiles we cross it by Ferry ! Shortly after we arrive at Loyalty Beach our Cape York base camp.

Day 5 - Loyalty Beach Cape York
Choose an optional tour day today (own expense),you might travel by inter island ferry to Thursday Island or Horn Island or take a flight over the Torres Straits. Alternatively relax by the beach at loyalty.

Day 6 - Loyalty Beach Cape York
Celebrate as you stand on the Northern tip of the Cape York peninsular, pass through dense rainforest and strolling along deserted beaches on the way.

Day 7 - Cape York to Twin Falls
After a brief stop in Bamaga travel to Twin Falls on the magnificent Elliot River. Camp overnight at Twin Falls.

Day 8 - Twin Falls
Relax, swim and explore spectacular Indian Head Falls, Elliot Falls and Twin Falls. A beautiful area, the jewel of the Cape York Peninsular and your camp for tonight.

Day 9 - Twin Falls to Bramwell Station
Travel through Heathlands Reserve and lunch at Captain Billy Landing. Overnight camp at Bramwell Station Australia’s Northern most cattle station.

Day 10 - Bramwell Station to Weipa
Arrive at Weipa around lunch time. Mine and Town tour (Optional) or just relax at our Weipa camp.

Day 11 - Weipa to Musgrave
Visit the Peninsula quarantine station and Coen on route to our camp at Musgrave Station.

Day 12 - Musgrave Station to Lakefield National Park
Experience Lakefield National Park and it’s abundant wildlife. Camp over night in the National Park.

Day 13 - Lakefield National Park to Cooktown
See Historic Old Laura Homestead from a bygone era learn about life in the outback in the early days, then arrive at Cooktown in time to visit the James Cook Historical museum (own expense). Camp in Cooktown.

Day 14 - Cooktown to Cairns
View Cooktown from Grassy Hill, then onto the Black Mountains and stop by at the Lions Den Pub. If track conditions permit venture onto the notorious Bloomfield track visiting Bloomfield falls and Cape Tribulation before returning to Cairns in the late afternoon.
