After pick up from your hotel or accommodation, we head out to Kakadu. We travel across the Marrakai flood plains and take a boat cruise where we spot crocodiles, bird life and explore the tidal river system. We stop at the Bark Hut Inn (pictured) before continuing on in to Kakadu. We cross the South Alligator River before proceeding to Ubirr/Obiri Rock where we see classic examples of Aboriginal rock art and spectacular 360 degree views. After watching sunset on the escarpment we travel to our campsite. During the evening we enjoy a hearty dinner and damper prepared on an open fire. (L,D)
