Perth to Exmouth Tour
Day 1 - Perth to Kalbarri
Departing Perth the tour heads north to Nambung National Park and to explore the fascinating formations of the Pinnacles Desert. Your trip continues along coastal roads passing by seaside fishing towns until arriving at some local sand dunes. In the afternoon drive through the major port of Geraldton, before reaching our overnight stop in the seaside resort town of Kalbarri.

Day 2 - Kalbarri to Shark Bay
Rising early this morning it is a short drive to Murchison Gorge in the Kalbarri National Park. Here you explore Nature's Window and Z-Bend Gorge which is an exhilarating 150 metre descent into the heart of the gorge. Feeling adventurous? Give abseiling a go (at own expense). In the afternoon the group heads towards Monkey Mia and enter the Shark Bay World Heritage area. On the way we stop at beautiful Shell Beach before reaching our overnight stop at Shark Bay.

Day 3 - Shark Bay to Coral Bay
You are up early this morning to head to the beach and to make our way to see the world famous Monkey Mia dolphins, have your camera ready for some wonderful photos of these friendly animals. From here we head to Carnarvon and end the day at Coral Bay, a truly beautiful location.

Day 4 - Coral Bay and Exmouth
Spend today discovering the wonders of the Ningaloo Reef and its amazing marine wildlife. Snorkelling, cruising in a glass bottom boat, quad bike tours or a joy flight over the reef are just some of the ways you can check out this beautiful aquatic sanctuary (optional at own expense). Late this afternoon we drive the short distance to Exmouth. (5 day passengers end their tour here).

Day 5 - Exmouth
You can head underwater to go diving or (in season) search for whale sharks (optional activities at own expense including snorkelling) or we'll tour around the area including snorkelling or lazing on the beach at Turquoise Bay.

Days 6 & 7 - Exmouth to Perth
We are up early at 6.30am to begin the trip back to Perth, staying overnight at Northbrook Farmstay for our last evening together. In the morning, it's a short trip to the Principality of Hutt River, where you'll be amused with Prince Leonard's story and why he seceded from Australia. Bring your passport along to add another stamp! From here, our journey south towards Perth continues. Along the way we stop at Greenough Wildlife Park, which is home to a python breeding centre. Get friendly with a snake (and other native animals) if you want to. We arrive back in Perth in the late afternoon.

Note
Safaris must be reconfirmed by 4.00pm the day before travel. Itineraries may vary and/or attractions may be substituted due to seasonal conditions, Traditional Owner and National Park requirements. 15 kilos luggage maximum on tour (about the same as the airlines). If you have more luggage than this you must talk to the operator about freighting the excess ahead to the tours end. You must do this when reconfirming your tour.

Reconfirming
This operator requires you to phone and reconfirm at least 24 hours prior to departure. This is a condition of booking and something you must not forget to do.
On Tour Accommodation
Hostel accommodation in a share dormitory with other travelers or with upgrade to private hostel rooms.
What to Bring
Refillable water bottle, Pillow for camping if required, towel, toiletries, insect repellent, sun block cream, hat, torch, warm clothes in winter months, good hiking shoes (preferably ankle high) no open toed sandals or flip flops (thongs). Any snacks you can’t live without.
Passenger Fitness
This tour is ideally for fit active people who have a degree of fitness aged between 18 to 50, you should be able to undertake a return hike of up to 8 kilometres with no problems. This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 14 years of age. Tour can be in extreme temperatures.
Passenger Participation
Passengers are required to assist the guide in the preparation and cleaning up of meals. This also helps you to get to know everyone.
Itineraries are subject to change in accordance with the weather (seasonal) and the wishes of the traditional Aboriginal owners wishes. Alternate locations are used if required.
