Perth to Darwin Tour Day 1
Perth - Kalbarri
The tour departs Perth and heads north to Nambung National Park with time to explore the unique formations of the Pinnacles. Driving along coastal roads and through seaside towns to arrive at some great sand dunes. It’s time to go sand surfing, after getting the adrenalin pumping the tour travels through Geraldton before arriving at Kalbarri and the overnight accommodation.

Perth to Darwin Day 2
Kalbarri – Shark Bay
Up early this morning for the short drive to Murchison Gorge in Kalbarri National Park. Explore Z-Bend Gorge, where you will do the 150 metre descent down into the heart of the gorge. Time to also explore Natures Window and the Loop. Optional abseiling is available here (at own expense) if you want to give it a go. After lunch we drive towards Monkey Mia entering the Shark Bay Region. There is one more stop at amazing Shell Beach before arriving at Denham and the overnight stop.

Perth to Darwin Day 3
Shark Bay – Coral Bay
This morning it is time to visit the world famous friendly dolphins of Monkey Mia. Hitting the beach you must have your camera to get some great photos of these wonderful animals. From here it is off to Carnarvon with a stop along the way for a chocolate covered bananna at a banana plantation. The tour winds up the day driving along the highway to get to Coral Bay, one of the highlights of the trip.

Perth to Darwin Day 4
Coral Bay - Exmouth
Today is a day of exploring, snorkel Ningaloo Reef and the amazing aquatic life there, take a glass bottom boat ride or a joyflight, rent a quad bike (all at own expense). Later in the afternoon the tour arrives at Exmouth and the overnight accommodation.

Exmouth
After a hearty breakfast the tour heads to Yardi Creek in the Cape Range National Park. Take a swim at Turquoise Beach or just sunbake for awhile. We head up to the lighthouse at Vlahming Head for spectacular views. Overnight in Exmouth.

Perth to Darwin Day 6
Exmouth – Karijini National Park
Heading through vast cattle stations in the Pilbara region the tour heads towards Karijini stopping at the town of Tom Price before setting up camp overlooking the Hamersley Ranges and taking in the sun set.

Perth to Darwin Day 7 & 8
Karijini National Park
This national park is huge, it takes two full days to explore the national park and many gorges. 2.500 years old this region has the most unusual formations on earth. Down in the gorges see the many waterfalls and there is perfect swimming. Some gorges are so narrow you can touch both sides of the gorge at once! Hancock Gorge, Dales Gorge, Weano Gorge, Fortesque Falls, Circular Pool and Fern Pool are just some of the locations you can visit. This is one of the tours highlights.

Karijini – Indee Station
Driving through the national park heading towards Indee Station we stop at Red Rock to view aboriginal rock art before heading to Broome.

Indee Station - Broome
Today we make our way to the iron ore town of Port Hedland where you will take a quick tour to appreciate how huge the iron ore industry is. Still heading for Broome the tour takes a break to stretch your legs at beautiful 80 mile beach where you can swim, walk or just relax. Overnight in Broome.

Adelaide to Darwin Day 11 & 12
Broome
You have two days to take in the sights of this pearling town, we start with a quick tour to familiarize you with the town then it’s up to you. Take a walk on Cable Beach or a camel ride (at own expense). Check out the pearling industry and some very old pearling luggers. Have a beer at the local pub.

Perth to Darwin Day 13
Broome - Windjana Gorge
After leaving Broome we stop briefly at Willare Bridge to gaze in awe at the size of this river and the amount of water that flows in the mighty Fitzroy River during the wet season, continuing on we leave the bitumen behind as we head for the Oscar Range and on to Tunnel Creek, a 750 metre tunnel that passes under the Napier range rich in bush-ranger history: just ask your guide for the true story.

Gibb River Rd – Mt Barnett
After spending a few pleasant hours exploring Windjana Gorge with its abundance of freshwater crocodiles it's time to hit the track again as we travel along the famous Gibb River road to Bells Gorge where we have the chance for a refreshing swim. We then set up camp for the night at Mt Barnett.

Gibb River Road & Gorges
A great day of swimming and hiking as we explore some of the Kimberley's striking gorges - maybe Barnett, Manning, Adcock or Galvans depending on the time of year. Overnight bush camp.

Perth to Darwin Day 16
Gibb River Road - El Questro
We continue along the rugged Gibb River Road, travelling through some ancient and spectacular country before crossing the Pentecost River and heading to the famous El Questro Station. We walk into the beautiful Cockburn Ranges for a swim under the waterfall at Emma Gorge. We call in at Wyndham and the Five Rivers Lookout before heading to our overnight camp at Diggers Rest Cattle Station or Parry Farm.

Perth to Darwin Day 17
El Questro - Bungle Bungles National Park
We start the day visiting the bird watchers paradise of Marlgu Billabong, then sit back and admire the awesome scenery of the Carr Boyd and Durack Ranges as we head to Turkey Creek. We take a challenging 4WD trip into the Bungle Bungle (Purnululu) National Park for sunset over the Osmond Ranges and our overnight bush camp.

Bungle Bungle National Park
We spend a full day exploring the unusual rock formations of the Bungle Bungles mastiff, visiting the unique Frog Hole, the breathtaking Echidna Chasm and the magnificent Cathedral Gorge. We have time for an optional scenic helicopter flight (at own expense) over the Bungles before heading to our overnight bush camp.

Perth to Darwin Day 19
Bungle-Bungles to Kununurra
This morning we engage 4WD to wind our way out of the Bungle-Bungles before heading to the capital of the North - Kununurra. This afternoon we explore Hidden Valley - just a stones throw from Kununurra township. Tonight you may have the luxury of a shower!!

Perth to Darwin Day 20
Kununurra to Victoria River
This morning we drive out to Lake Argyle and the Ord River Dam. Time to take in the magnificent expanse of the largest man made lake in Australia. This afternoon we cross the border into the Northern Territory. Time permitting we may have a look in at the Keep River National Park before heading to our camp on the Victoria River.

Victoria River to Darwin
We begin our final leg this morning with the short leg to Katherine where we have a brief visit to Katherine (Nitmiluk) Gorge. Heading north now we stop at Edith Falls for a final refreshing and relaxing swim before heading into Darwin where sadly we farewell our new found friends.

Included:
Experienced guides, fuel levy, meals as indicated (BLD stands for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner), accommodation transfers, camping fees & equipment, hostel dorm accommodation. Some non permanent campsites have no facilities in which case bush toilets and showers would be used. Sleeping bags are not supplied, if required they are available for purchase for $50.00 per person.
Note:
Safaris must be reconfirmed by 4.00pm the day before travel. Itineraries may vary and/or attractions may be substituted due to seasonal conditions, Traditional Owner and National Park requirements. 15 kilos luggage maximum on tour (about the same as the airlines). If you have more luggage than this you must talk to the operator about freighting the excess ahead to the tours end. You must do this when reconfirming your tour.
This tour is comprised of three separate tours so tour groups will vary.

Reconfirming:
This operator requires you to phone and reconfirm at least 24 hours prior to departure. This is a condition of booking and something you must not forget to do.
On Tour Accommodation:
Accommodation while on tour is at permanent and non permanent bush campsites as well as hostel accommodation in a share dormitory with other travelers or with upgrade to private hostel room for 8 nights.
What to Bring:
Refillable water bottle, Pillow for camping if required, towel, toiletries, insect repellent, sun block cream, hat, torch, warm clothes in winter months, good hiking shoes (preferably ankle high) no open toed sandals or flip flops (thongs). Any snacks you can’t live without. You can bring your own sleeping bag or if you need to purchase one they are available for $50.00 per person.
Passenger Fitness:
This tour is ideally for fit active people who have a degree of fitness aged between 18 to 50, you should be able to undertake a return hike of up to 8 kilometres with no problems. This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 14 years of age. Tour can be traveling in extreme temperatures.
Passenger Participation:
Passengers are required to assist the guide in the preparation and cleaning up of meals. This also helps you to get to know everyone.
Itineraries are subject to change in accordance with the weather (seasonal) and the wishes of the traditional Aboriginal owners wishes. Alternate locations are used if required.
