Perth to Broome Tour Day 1
Perth to Kalbarri
The tour departs Perth and heads north to Nambung National Park with time to explore the unique formations of the Pinnacles. Driving along coastal roads and through seaside towns to arrive at some great sand dunes. It’s time to go sand surfing, after getting the adrenalin pumping the tour travels through Geraldton before arriving at Kalbarri and the overnight accommodation.

Perth to Broome Day 2
Kalbarri to Shark Bay
Up early this morning for the short drive to Murchison Gorge in Kalbarri National Park. Explore Z-Bend Gorge, where you will do the 150 metre descent down into the heart of the gorge. Time to also explore Natures Window and the Loop.  Optional abseiling is available here (at own expense) if you want to give it a go. After lunch we drive towards Monkey Mia entering the Shark Bay Region. There is one more stop at amazing Shell Beach before arriving at Denham and the overnight stop.

Perth to Broome Day 3
Shark Bay to Coral Bay
This morning it is time to visit the world famous friendly dolphins of Monkey Mia. Hitting the beach you must have your camera to get some great photos of these wonderful animals. From here it is off to Carnarvon with a stop along the way for a chocolate covered bananna at a banana plantation. The tour winds up the day driving along the highway to get to Coral Bay, one of the highlights of the trip.

Perth to Broome Day 4
Coral Bay - Exmouth
Today is a day of exploring, snorkel Ningaloo Reef and the amazing aquatic life there, take a glass bottom boat ride or a joyflight, rent a quad bike (all at own expense). Later in the afternoon the tour arrives at Exmouth and the overnight accommodation.

Perth to Broome Day 5
Exmouth
After a hearty breakfast the tour heads to Yardi Creek in the Cape Range National Park. Take a swim at Turquoise Beach or just sunbake for awhile. We head up to the lighthouse at Vlahming Head for spectacular views. Overnight in Exmouth.

Perth to Broome Day 6
Exmouth – Karijini National Park
Heading through vast cattle stations in the Pilbara region the tour heads towards Karijini stopping at the town of Tom Price before setting up camp overlooking the Hamersley Ranges and taking in the sun set.

Perth to Broome Day 7 & 8
Karijini National Park
This national park is huge, it takes two full days to explore the national park and many gorges. 2.500 years old this region has the most unusual formations on earth. Down in the gorges see the many waterfalls and there is perfect swimming. Some gorges are so narrow you can touch both sides of the gorge at once! Hancock Gorge, Dales Gorge, Weano Gorge, Fortesque Falls, Circular Pool and Fern Pool are just some of the locations you can visit. This is one of the tours highlights.

Perth to Broome Day 9
Karijini – Indee Station
Driving through the national park heading towards Indee Station we stop at Red Rock to view aboriginal rock art before heading to Broome.

Perth to Broome Day 10
Indee Station - Broome
Today we make our way to the iron ore town of Port Hedland where you will take a quick tour to appreciate how huge the iron ore industry is. Still heading for Broome the tour takes a break to stretch your legs at beautiful 80 mile beach where you can swim, walk or just relax. Overnight in Broome.

Note:
Safaris must be reconfirmed by 4.00pm the day before travel.  Itineraries may vary and/or attractions may be substituted due to seasonal conditions, Traditional Owner and National Park requirements.  15 kilos luggage maximum on tour (about the same as the airlines). If you have more luggage than this you must talk to the operator about freighting the excess ahead to the tours end. You must do this when reconfirming your tour.

Departures from Broome:
7th May 2009 to the 19th November 2009 6.30am Thursdays only

Finishes:
Broome or Perth early evening on day 10

Reconfirming:
This operator requires you to phone and reconfirm at least 24 hours prior to departure. This is a condition of booking and something you must not forget to do.

On Tour Accommodation:
Accommodation while on tour is at permanent and non permanent bush campsites as well as hostel accommodation in a share dormitory with other travelers or with upgrade to private ensuited hostel rooms for 5 nights.

What to Bring:
Refillable water bottle, Pillow for camping if required, towel, toiletries, insect repellent, sun block cream, hat, torch, warm clothes in winter months, good hiking shoes (preferably ankle high) no open toed sandals or flip flops (thongs). Any snacks you can’t live without. Sleeping bags can be purchased for $50.00 for this tour if you don’t bring your own.

Passenger Fitness:
This tour is ideally for fit active people who have a degree of fitness aged between 18 to 50, you should be able to undertake a return hike of up to 8 kilometres with no problems. This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 14 years of age. Tour can be in extreme temperatures.

Passenger Participation:
Passengers are required to assist the guide in the preparation and cleaning up of meals. This also helps you to get to know everyone.

Itineraries are subject to change in accordance with the weather (seasonal) and the wishes of the traditional Aboriginal owners wishes. Alternate locations are used if required.
