Day 1 - Devonport to Bicheno
Departing from Devonport (or Launceston) the tours first stop are the magnificent Saint Colombus Falls with an ancient rainforest as a backdrop. Traveling through heritage farmlands, rainforest towns and mining towns the scenery is changing constantly. This afternoon you spend some time at the Bay of Fires. Stroll along the pristine beaches, take a swim if the weather permits. Overnight at Bicheno with the optional chance after dinner to go and see the penguins march (at own expense).
East Coast Tasmania Tour
Day 2 - Fryecinet National Park to Hobart
An early start to the day means that we can be the first to the lookout and beat the crowds for your postcard picture of Wineglass Bay. Relax on the secluded beach of or choose the more challenging Mt Amos or Hazzards Beach walk for your mornings Freycinet experience. This afternoon we take a break at the picturesque historical village of Ross. Sample the local Ross Bakery fare (seasonal) or check out the convict built bridge. Come face to face with a Tasmanian Devil as we stop at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary to meet these endangered native animals, as well as others unique to Tasmania. A short drive returns us to Hobart where we stay overnight.

Day 3 - Port Arthur Historic site
Commence the day with a quick look at Australia's best preserved colonial village of Richmond before heading south for magnificent views of the Tasman Peninsula and the Tasman National Park. Discover Tasmania's convict history at the World Heritage Listed - Port Arthur Historic Site (guided walk and harbour cruise included). Rich in visual history, here we learn of the chilling realities of life as a convict amid the restored sandstone prison buildings and preserved ruins.

Accommodation while on tour is at hostel accommodation in a share dormitory with other travelers or with upgrade to private ensuited motel or lodge rooms for 2 nights.
What to Bring
Refillable water bottle, towel, toiletries, insect repellent, sun block cream, hat, torch, warm clothes in winter months, good hiking shoes (preferably ankle high) no open toed sandals or flip flops (thongs). Any snacks you can’t live without.
Passenger Fitness
This tour is ideally for fit active people who have a degree of fitness aged between 18 to 39 only, you should be able to undertake a return hike of up to 8 kilometres with no problems. This tour is not suitable for people outside of this age bracket.
