Kangaroo Island Day 1 - Adelaide to Kangaroo Island
Enjoy meeting your ATA guide and fellow travellers as we drive south of Adelaide through the scenic hills of the Fleurieu Peninsula. Sail across Backstairs Passage with Sealink - a 45 minute ferry trip from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw, KI. On arrival, take a walk at Hogs Bay searching for wildlife. Stop at Pennington Bay then climb Prospect Hill for great views. We continue on to Stokes Bay to a secluded beach, then head to Rocky River Headquarters to see more wildlife. Check out Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch & Cape du Couedic to see a colony of fur seals, then head to our overnight accommodation. (LD)
Kanagaroo Island Day 2 - Kangaroo Island to Adelaide
We try some platypus spotting and visit Hanson Bay Koala Sanctuary. Explore the sand dunes at Little Sahara then head to Seal Bay to walk amongst Australian Sea Lions. After lunch, we call in at Vivonne Bay then head for your return transfer to Adelaide. (BL)
