Day 1: Alice Springs to Kata Tjuta & Uluru
Overnight pre-tour dorm accommodation is included.
Experience a camel ride (own expense) at the Outback Camel Farm, then journey on to Uluru (Ayers Rock). After lunch, explore Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and hike the Valley of the Winds, then watch the desert sun set over Uluru. After dinner curl up under the millions of stars in an authentic Aussie bedroll (Swag) at our permanent campsite.

Day 2: Ayers Rock to Kings Canyon
We rise early to view the awesome Uluru Sunrise. Watch the changing colours of Ayers Rock on a 9.4km base walk or if you prefer, climb Ayers Rock. Take in an interpretive walk exploring the many rock formations and Aboriginal art sites followed by a visit to the Cultural Centre. After lunch we depart for Kings Canyon, where you will experience a traditional camp oven dinner. We stay overnight at our permanent campsite at Kings Canyon Resort.

Day 3: Kings Canyon to Glen Helen
We explore Kings Canyon climbing to explore the formations of the Amphitheatre, the Lost Cityand the beautiful Garden of Eden on the North and South Walls. After lunch we travel along the famous Mereenie Loop 4WD track, sighting Gosse Bluff (a meteorite crater believed to be over 130 million years old and the home of reknowned Aboriginal artist Albert Namitjira on our way to Glen Helen. We stay overnight at our permanent campsite at Glen Helen, which is located in the Western End of the majestic McDonnell Ranges.

Day 4: Glen Helen to Alice Springs
This morning we explore picturesque Ormiston Gorge before putting our vehicle into 4WD to travel the ancient track of the Finke River into Palm Valley and Cycad Gorge. We spend most of the day taking in the views of Palm Valley, the site of an inland sea in prehistoric times and home to one of the rarest trees in the world, tropical palm Livistonia Mariae. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Western McDonnell Ranges as we journey back to Alice Springs.

Day 5: Alice Springs
Day of leisure. Take in the sights of Alice Springs and explore. Dorm accommodation included meals at own expense.
Day 6: Alice Springs to Banka Banka
Today we cross the Tropic of Capricorn, see the amazing Devils Marbles, visit an Aboriginal Art Gallery, stop for a swim (summer only) at picturesque Mary Ann Dam then pass through Tennant Creek as we head to historic Banka Banka Cattle Station for dinner and overnight camp.

Day 7: Banka Banka to Katherine Gorge
Call in at the famous Outback Pub at Daly Waters, have a swim in Mataranka Thermal Springs, then head to the magnificent Katherine Gorge for overnight camp.

Day 8: Katherine Gorge to Darwin
Spend half a day at the spectacular Katherine Gorge (canoe, boat cruise or helicopter ride available at own expense) before heading to Darwin via Edith Falls and Adelaide River.

Day 9: Darwin to Mary River
See the falls of Litchfield National Park before heading to the spectacular Mary River Wetlands, home to a massive variety of bird life. During the afternoon we look for crocodiles and other wildlife on our private river cruise. Later in the day we arrive at Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge where we spend the night at our permanent campsite.

Day 10: Mary River to Kakadu
Our first stop is Ubirr Rock where we discover ancient Aboriginal rock art and climb to enjoy panoramic views. We then travel on to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge), where we kike to the plunge pools to take a refreshing swim. We stay overnight at our permanent camp within Kakadu National Park.

Day 11: Kakadu to Darwin
This morning we four wheel drive into the awesome Jim Jim Falls, hiking to the base of the falls then continue on to Twin Falls. At Twin Falls we join a National Park operated boat and boardwalk experience up the stunning gorge to the waterfall. In the afternoon we return to Darwin, enjoying the impressive scenery along the way.
