"Safari in Stlye" is designed for those wanting a comfortable but adventurous small group tour. While it is not luxury (passengers have to walk to shared shower and toilet facilities), it is considerably more comfortable than our budget program in terms of service and facilities offered. Our exclusive campsites are designed to enhance your outback experience, offering large permanent tents with interior lights and fans as well as proper beds with linen, pillows and towels. A variety of high quality meals are provided, tables are laid with cloths and cutlery and wine is served with evening meals.
Ayers Rock Tour Day 1: Alice Springs to Kata Tjuta & Uluru
We travel through the James and Waterhouse Ranges to the Outback Camel Farm where many passengers will have their first opportunity to ride a camel (at own expense). We journey on to Uluru (Ayers Rock) viewing the ancient Hugh and Finke River Systems, Mount Connor and the unique desert scenery along the way. After lunch, we explore the wonder of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and hike the spectacular Valley of the Winds before enjoying a glass of sparkling wine while watching the sun set over Uluru. After a delicious dinner, we view the brilliance of the outback sky then settle down for the night in your safari accommodation.
