3 Day Uluru Accommodated Safari in Style - PAR3-O
Enjoy the outback with a touch of class
"Safari in Stlye" is designed for those wanting a comfortable but adventurous small group tour. While it is not luxury (passengers have to walk to shared shower and toilet facilities), it is considerably more comfortable than our budget program in terms of service and facilities offered. Our exclusive campsites are designed to enhance your outback experience, offering large permanent tents with interior lights and fans as well as proper beds with linen, pillows and towels. A variety of high quality meals are provided, tables are laid with cloths and cutlery and wine is served with evening meals.
Ayers Rock Tour Day 1 Alice Springs to Kata Tjuta & Uluru
The tour travels through the James and Waterhouse Ranges to the first stop at the famous Outback Camel Farm! See the world from a camel’s back if you choose to go for a ride (at own expense). Then it is off to Uluru, past the ancient Hugh and Finke River Systems and Mount Conner as you travel through the desert outback. Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) will thrill you as you get up close to the awesome features of this ancient landform as you hike the Valley of the Winds. That evening, relax with a glass of Australian sparkling wine as the sun sinks slowly behind Uluru (Ayers Rock) and you watch the changing colours. Soon the outback sky will darken, and after a delicious dinner you’ll be hypnotised by its starry brilliance before falling asleep in your safari accommodation.
Ayers Rock Tour Day 2 Uluru to Kings Canyon
Today you are up before dawn this morning and the reward is an amazing Uluru sunrise. Take the opportunity to stretch your legs with a walk around the base of Uluru (unguided). Deepen your understanding of the land and its stories at the Cultural Centre, where you have the chance to look at and purchase Indigenous arts and crafts. In the afternoon you head to Kings Canyon, in time for a superb meal before settling down for the night in your safari accommodation.
